Our regular operations days are Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The public is welcome to come out and observe our operations and have all your questions answered by some of the best pilots and instructors in the country!

We are excited to welcome you to the 2026 Texas XC Soaring Series — and to another great year of flying, exploring, and sharing the incredible soaring opportunities Texas has to offer. This Series was created by pilots, for pilots, with a simple goal: make it easier and more welcoming for glider pilots to visit, fly, and soar with clubs across Texas. Whether you’re chasing cross-country miles, flying structured tasks, or just looking for a reason to pull the trailer to a new field and meet new friends, the Texas XC Soaring Series is here to help make that happen. By participating, eligible pilots can visit and fly with participating Texas soaring clubs as a Temporary Club Member, enjoying club member rates for tows and rentals (where available), while respecting each Host Club’s local rules, safety practices, and operating culture. The 2026 Series runs from March 1 through December 31, 2026, and includes scheduled events hosted by clubs around the state, with scoring managed through WeGlide. A one-time $30 Series fee helps support the program and unlocks access to all participating clubs for the season.

TSA TOWPLANE REBUILD PROJECT COMPLETED!

TSA is blessed to have 4 Pawnee towplanes, a rarity in United States soaring clubs. Several of them have been completely rebuilt through the volunteer efforts of many club members. See the article that can be viewed by clicking on the link HERE that describes the work done over a more than 13 year period (2012 to 2025) on the most recent project, restoring towplane N8642L to flying status. THANK YOU to all the TSA members who volunteered their time and effort over those years to make it happen!
